About RetailStandard.org

RetailStandard.org is a free, public knowledge platform maintained by Fiscal Solutions. It helps retail technology professionals, integrators and compliance teams converge on a shared vocabulary for POS, fiscalization, e-invoicing, digital receipts and retail compliance.

The platform currently offers two modules. The Retail Dictionary gives one recommended term per concept, plus the most common synonyms, abbreviations and alternative phrasings — so you find the same definition whether you search for e-receipt, digital receipt or electronic receipt.

The Fiscalization by Country module provides concise, country-level overviews of fiscalization rules, tax-authority contacts and portal availability. It covers where fiscalization is mandatory, transitioning, partial or not currently required, with source references and last-reviewed dates so you can judge how current the information is.
